Advisory Council

The Texas Disproportionality and Disparities Advisory Council (TDDAC) was formed on April 5, 2013 to ensure the community voice was at the forefront of the work to eliminate disproportionality and disparities in the State of Texas.  The Council consists of several of the Advisory Committee Chairs and Co-Chairs in addition to prominent community leaders and stakeholders.

The TDDAC recognizes the role the Center for the Elimination of Disproportionality and Disparities (the Center) has on the impact  of systems and legislation in Texas, as well as across the nation. As we move  forward, we strive to establish a relationship with the Center that consists of  collaboration, education, accountability, and transparency in order to effect  change.  Our role as an Advisory Council is one that makes a  conscious effort to ensure the community voice is at the decision-making table,  also to serve as advisors to other systems and communities with the passion of  eliminating disproportionality and disparities.
